1. Who provides the app?
WorkFiled is provided by Martin Preus (Preus Studio), Denmark. Contact: [email protected]. The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple’s standard EULA”). These terms add information specific to WorkFiled and do not replace it. If there is a conflict, Apple’s standard EULA applies.
2. What the app does
WorkFiled helps you record work you have done (hours, materials, equipment, travel, expenses and photos), show your customer a copy without your private rates, collect a drawn signature or record that the customer did not sign, and create PDF documents.
3. What the app does not do
A signature in the app acknowledges the recorded work and quantities, subject to the customer’s comments. It is not identity verification, approval of prices or payment, or a contract.
The app does not guarantee that a document will be accepted as evidence, that you will be paid, or that a document cannot be altered after export. The app is not an accounting, invoicing or tax system and gives no legal, tax or financial advice.
4. Your data and backups
Your records are stored on your device and, if your version offers it and you turn it on, in your own private iCloud account. iCloud sync is for one person using the same iCloud account on their own devices; it is not a team or shared workspace. You are responsible for keeping backups: use Export full backup and store the file safely. We cannot recover your data, because we do not receive it. See the privacy policy.
5. Your customers’ information
You are responsible for the information you record about your customers and for using it lawfully.
6. Free use and WorkFiled Pro
You can complete your first 5 real records free of charge; the built-in fictional example and corrections do not count. After that, completing new records requires WorkFiled Pro. Reading, exporting and backing up your existing records never requires Pro, even if a subscription ends.
WorkFiled Pro is an auto-renewable subscription for one person, sold by Apple, either monthly or annually and paid in advance for each period. The price and period are shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy; prices vary by country and may change, and we do not publish a single price list here. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Restore purchases in the app checks your Apple Account for an active subscription.
7. Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app and these terms. Features such as iCloud sync may not be available in every version. Material changes will be shown with a new date above.
8. Warranty, liability and governing law
Warranty, the limitation of liability and governing law are set out in Apple’s standard EULA. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.
